Lin Yong-chao, he was born in Zhaoan Fujian in 1977, his abecedarian teacher is Mr. Shen Rong-tian, he learned from Teacher Gao Ji-wen. In 1995 he graduated from Beijing art academy graduate student class, in 1998 he was admitted to the Central Academy of Fine Arts department of Chinese painting. he mainly studied freehand brushwork figure, learned from these teachers, such as: Han Guo-zhen、Tian Li-ming、Hua Qi-min、Li Yang、Bi Jian-xun、Liu Qing and so on.
In 2002, he graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and got bachelor’s degree.
In 2008, he got master degree of Jiangnan university, learned from Teacher Zhang Fu-chang.
From 2002 until now, he teach in Xiamen craft fine arts institute of Fuzhou university.
At present, he is the member of Chinese artists association, managing director of Fujian province youth artists association, secretary-general of Xiamen artists association figure academy.

In 2005, his claborate-style bire-and-flower painting 《Silk talk》, was selected into the national Chinese painting exhibition, this exhibition just for commemorate the 60 anniversary of the victory of Anto-Japanese War, hosted by Chinese artists association.
In 2005, his claborate-style bird-and-flower painting 《Gentle breeze》, was selected into the third session youth Chinese painting exhibition.
In 2005, his work 《Golden palm》was selected into Chinese lacquer painting exhibition.
